Dogbone gearbox ~~~ A thing of the past !!!!!

Just thought I would show you this
It is as near a replica of the "Works" Gp A gearbox mount .
I bought a R19 mount,a couple of bottom arm bushes,some machining and welding,and there you have it,I supplied the bits .My mate did the rest £50 ~~ a snip considering the "Proper" one is in the region of £300/400.
To mount it,you need to have a coulpe of "L" shaped brackets welded on top of the subframe, ~~ Then forget about gearbox mounts for good.
Not sure,whether it clears the Power steering rack ,but it could be modded if required.Mine has no power steering

Ok,will bolt it onto the gearbox and take some pictures,also I will take one of the modification to the subframe .

can someone confirm that the renault megane has some thing similar with a damper fitted to it

I cant say i remember a damper Maxiboy....may be mistaken tho.
