    Glass-Fibre Bonnets and Tailgates

    Below are pics of the first bonnet and tailgate to be taken from the molds I had made up. You will notice strengthening ribs on the insides of both panels..these greatly increase the rigidity.

    I think the prices will be £150 for a bonnet and £175 for a tailgate...this will be confirmed next week along with leads times (I will probably get them made in batches of 5, the first lot starting next week).

    I brief show of hands to get an idea of prelimanary numbers would be appreciated!

    Gaffer tape?

    lol

    They can be pinned, hinged, or on threaded bar....thats up to you to sort really...as I said originally

    I'll have a tailgate deffo mate...let me know how you want payment...can do a bank transfer easy enough.

    Will they survive a delivery service...how rigid are they?

    Yeah they are defo rigid enough...and they will be packaged appropriatly.

    Im waiting to hear back from my GF bloke, as the one in the pic doesnt have the raised section around the inside, which the rain/water seal presses against...so technically as it is, that one would leak!

    As soon as ive finalised dealings with him, I'll let you know.

    Doors could be made on request aswell

    The tailgates just require a wee bit more work mate then they will be ready.

    Tho...i did want to have mine on before anyone else lol :D

    You got perspex for them?

    not yet....I'll order a rear screen I think but keeping the rest of the windows stnd. Should be a good 15kg saving on the tailgate alone I reckon...

    TBH an appropriatly sized flat sheet would do it...if ur DIY savvy, its easy enough.
