Almost finished! the ultimate 1/4mile clio williams

Well, its almost complete bar a few bits and pieces but my williams should be ready for york sometime end of may/early june.
with only saurday afternoons free to play with it has taken most of the winter to do it,

Mods so far:-
piper cams/ pulleys
mappable ecu
Bmw BMC carbon fibre airbox, with ram pipe
Magnex stainless steel exhaust
prima racing decat
uprated head gasket
uprated gt tuning clutch
colder plugs
Nos/holley nitrous oxide system (dry) with 60 jets
big brake conversion
16inch fox alloys in anthracite
black lexus lights.

with all that complete its time to look towards the bodywork as the dreaded rust are getting bad on the bonnet and rear arches so time to save up a bit more cash and maybe look towards some carbon bit to save extra weight, or if anyone has a mint 449 blue bonnet for sale i would be very interested

yep adis cliorossa's 13.6 @ 104 mph is the daddy time....well for nosd anyway.....turbod its nick reads(or not now if hes sold it) 13.3@105 i think

still the n/a title belongs to me( well in mk1 clios)..with 14.0 @ 98 mph and tim os cup has run 13.9s

Why are you going for 16" rims if you're trying to get the best 1/4mile time?

Because 16`s with 195/45 tyres is a smaller overall rolling diameter than 15/185/55

plus you can get bigger brakes behind 16`s :D

TimO's 13.9 was on road tyres IIRC faster than he went on slicks!

Well, my Williams has the best acceleration on this forum ........I can get a £50 pound note out of my wallet and spent on this car in 0.002 secs, and it can do that every 12 seconds...is this a record
