wheel nut problem

i need to get my lock nuts off but as i lost the key what is the best way to get them off???if i get a garage to do it how much will they charge any ideas??

get a socket sligtly smaller than the nut wack it on with a hammer then try undoing it that way or drill them out

dunno i have the advantage of my dad being a joiner all his live so he drille my old ones out straight and didn't so much as rip one thread

im a carpenter but pretty sure i need a high speed drill to do it but dont have 1.can u ask him what sort of drill he used pleas emate????if i use the socket idea which i was thinking will it turn the nut or just round it off??

he used a panasonic hand drill mate so nothing special

hmmm how did he do it just drill into middle of the nut all the way them i suppose u can break it out or tuen it
