what kind of injector with F7R 710 and FENIX 3 ECU

    Hi

I running a F7R710 megane engine on my williams and I kept FENIX 3 stock ECU.
Of course you can't put megane injectors with the FENIX 3 because of impedance problems (high for megane, low for clio one) so I kept the clio one.

but now i have some knocks problems and i thing clio injectors are the problems

Well, the question is : what kind of injector have you put on your megane engine ???

    thanks
    bye

you need to run the clio injectors with the clio ecu....as you say so they match the driver impedence.

to make them fit the megane head, simply swap the megane lower O rings on to the clio injectors.

if your having knocking issues, i guess the first place to start looking are your maps.

    yes you're right
    but my map is ok

I mean that with F7R710 you can normaly set timing ignition around 28°.
In my case I can't set higher than 24° :(
    AFR is ok

So I'm sure that the probleme is injector.

Do you know where I can find others bosch injectors with low impedance and with "multi-jet" like megane one ?

thanks for your aswers and sorry for my bad english :P

Get the injectors cleaned - go where they have equipment for cleaning the injectors with ultrasound.
Get a spray pattern before and after the treament.

Or call your local Bosch importer - they can help with an alternative injector (ml/h) - but why bother if this setup has worked before.....

If your AFR is spot on, what is the benefit of changing the injectors??

whats the spec of the engine...compression ratio etc?

    ok,

My injectors are cleaned with ultrasound as said cliokongen.
The AFR is ok but it's not the only condition to have full power on this engine.

    The engine is full stock.

I think the mixture AIR/FUEL is not as good as with the megane injectors.

I asked to a pro bosch engineer and he told me that I have to found other injectors with the same specifity as the megane ones.

    I look after BMW M3 E30 injectors now :s

If someone swapped for F7R 710/714 keeping FENIX 3 ECU, I would like to know what injectors he use with it.

    thanks

    yes the AFR is ok
I have knocks when I try to set more than 24° ignition at 5000 rpm.
it's not normal because with this engin you can go higher than 28° with no knocking issues.

In fact i have no more than 160 BHP.
I thing it could be better with this engine.

    bye
