Just wondering if anyone knows how much they usually cost?
Im wanting one to store 3-5 cars. Ive seen some at like 1,000sq foot but that means nothing to me lol.
Wanting one preferably in south yorkshire. Need to know how much space id need and how much im looking at

can you not go to a car storage company?

If you take on a unit you'll have to pay rent, rates, insurance, service costs etc.

Whereas it might be cheaper to pay someone £50 a month to look after the car, turn it over once a week and wash it once a month etc.

its not just for storage purposes but to do bits and bobs on the cars stored there in our spare time. Its going to be between me and amate or 2. I have plenty of room at home to store a car but not to work on ones.

i think for 5 cars you would need somthin like 250sq ft .....1000 you could fit loads of cars!....but industrial units dont usualy come that small and you would have to pay a bomb for 1! best bet is it get some back street garge or sumthin

usually they have a year lease. proberley between 8,000 and twelve thousand a year. could work out cheap if enough of you

To give you an idea of space etc:

my unit/workshop is 800sq ft. i can fit in, and work on comfortably 4 cars. IF you jiggled it about, you could store 5 cars maybe.
