Pics of my freshly painted and polished rims!!!

Yep, finally got them uploaded:-











I used a DA at my mates bodyshop to rid the outer rim of any kerb marks, then used Nitromoors to get the rest of the paint off the inner rim and outer rim. Then the whole inside of the wheel (black bits) were rubbed down with 240's, then 600's and finally 1200's.

The rims were then 800's and 1200's until they were good enough to be autosol'd until they were a mirror finish. Then we masked them up, primed and painted the centres is VW black magic, then the masking was taken off the rims and the whole wheels laquered for a gloss finish all round.

I am well pleased with the result.

As you can see, I have also re-painted my bumpstrips in satin black to compliment the wheels. Just have to do the spoiler, sunroof surround and mirror covers now...................... and get some black and silver plates, and a willy engine, and lower it............ the list goes on
