Anyone got an Ipod in there car?

Hi all, looking to install my ipod in my car, am I right in thinking that it will have to plug into the same outputs on the back of the head unit as the cd changer?

Ill also need a suitable docking station to hold the ipod on the dash, if anyone has theres in the car any help with products links etc would be great, thanks all!

i have one in mine im not sure about the cd changer but a unit connects into the back of the cd player and then the ipod into the ipod unit, my unit is fitter behind the glove box and a whole drilled in the glove box where the wire comes through to connect the ipod into. u controll ur ipod menu through your head unit same menu as on the ipod. mine is an alpine head unit cant remember what model it is though.

I think if you have a sony headunit you can get a special lead and box that connects into the outputs in your stereo i.e. the two phonos and the multichanger and you play your ipod through the multichanger option on your stereo.

Its ok but is is the cheaper option....

jus plug into the inputs on your stereo. and headfone jack on your ipod then your away. change sony via the ipod. not the stereo.
for the cost its the cheapest option.
