    williams turbo

im currently doing a clio williams turbo conversion for my R5gtt, just wondering what i should do about pistions, should i get mine machined down? if so by how much and what boost could i run? or should i get forged low comps and what boost could i run before having to change to forged rods?
where can i get a turbo manifolld from? BB tuning do 1 for £300 is there anywhere cheaper?

you pay for what you get...the cheap £300 price tag reflects a poor manifold.

what power are you aiming for?

i was looking 4 around 250bhp, is this a realistic figure? that power have other people been able to get?

can i get my standard pistions macheined down? if so by how much?
i was going to use one of them fastchip ECU's unless any1 knows of a beter 1

You can`t get standard pistions macheined down. You have to put in thicker head gasket for lowering comp ratio.

i emailed bbtuning about how much boost ther head gasket can take and they emailed me back saying that i need to get 1mm machined off my pistions bringing the C/R down to 9.0:1?

ahh the effective way to a crap car, increase the squish clearence.

Run the standard set up, don't kill the cars driveability by increasign the squish to reduce the cr.

    low cr cars are crap.
