    Fitting Buckets

    ok, got me some bucket seats today, mk1 subframes, which apparently bolt on to the original sliders.... how the hell do i get the top of the seat off so just have the slider to bolt it too???

    just cant see what to undoe etc...?

    any other tips on fitting, pre tensioner shiz n stuff

    To get seats off the sliders you have to undo 5 torx screws 3 on door side and 2 on hand brake side, then the seat will lift off leaving yo with the runner.

    Pre tensioners i know nothin about, dissconnecting the battery first might be a wise move though.

    wooo fitted one seat, lookin beasty.

    right, had to drill the subframes as the whole did not line up, took about an hour, the cast iron subbies were so bloody tough to drill through.

    sorting the harnesses, where should i mount them, sparco 3 points, and pics of any1's??
