Alternator help please!!

Hi All,

I am new to this forum and am the very proud owner of a Willy 3 only problem is that it needs a new alternator, would anyone know where I could source one from at a sensible price and/ or they are they the same for the one on the 1.8 16v or not?

Just get a new one. About 85 quid fitted. Thats what i paid.

They are about £75 ex VAT from GSF after exchange, and fitting is a 2 hour job I would say? It's not easy.. unless the engine is out.

GSF Car Parts is ya best bet..

If you goto Renault, I think a new item is £220..

Not if you know the parts manager its not(£60) . Llist price for exchange alternator is £91.78+vat part No. 7701499444.
