Anyone use those speaker holder things?

That let you use bigger front speakers? lol can't remember the name of them - I'm knackered!

Just curious if they're any good or needed?

Was gonna get some 5" comps but just wondered if the doors will accept anything bigger.

I've got 5.25" in my doors.

They fit easy without any holder needed.

it can be done but you need to butcher the door

which comps are you getting ?

I didnt butcher my doors, they screwed straight in no problem.

I'd expect if you went for anything bigger though you would need to make the hole bigger some how.

No idea yet just wanted the option, probably stay with standard size to be honest
