    Newbie in Dorset Willy 2

Hello all! Just got yet another clio williams 2.

Got the car at a reasonable price with 80K on the clock and a huge history and only 2 owners!

First projects- get the wheels done with the polished lip - any pointers?
Tailgate rusting - Other than replacing will see if a shop can make good
    General clean up!
Steering a little vague so gonna weld the column.

The slight love or hate thing is it has a sunroof! This was fitted by the first owner in 1995 at a cost of neally 300 quid!

No longer has the suit carrier shelf!

I have had 5 16 valvers, 2 williams to date and this one seems to be the best mechanically etc.

I like the fact that it is standard other than a KandN replacement element, drove it 300 miles yesterday and it put an instant smile on my face again! Just hope I can keep hold of it as they are getting quite scarce! Would be interested to see how many Williams there are left!

Look forward to using the forum for advice and chit chat etc!

    Paul

Shame, at least it is in good nick with no dreaded corrosion yet!

I have most ideas on what to do as you say but never to proud to take any advice! There seem to be some very knowledgeable peeps on here! The thing that attracted me to the car is that the history is great with only a coulple of owners!

Just need to source somewhere that can get the wheels done right.
