Just thought I'd say hi. I'm picking up my first Renault on Tuesday so I thought I'd make it a good un, its a Williams 1 no 259 and I can't wait!

I've been toying with the idea for a while but when it placed 3rd in Evo magazines best fwd car ever test recently plis seeing one on 5th gear has clinched it.

There's a few niggles, it crunches a bit when changing 2nd to 3rd, the odd stone chip and the fan came on a lot but I put this down to a big engine in a small place!

when i bought mine it popped out of 5th the box then lost 4th n 5th after a few weeks
so crunching may be a bad sign ? u might need it refurbed or replaced ?
some one in the know might be more help

Ta for the welcome, picked it up tonight and had fun on the way home. Joined the M56 at Altrincham which a really long corner but it was great! Then joined the M6 north which is another big corner which meant more smiles. Can't wait to chuck down some of my favourite roads!
