However, big old barge that it is kinda sad that Rover are going to skid row along with all the other British names. Drove a V8 Vanden Plas in 1983 ish back then was quite a car....didn't TVR use the same lump?

:D As one of the only guys on here old enough to remember these cars from new [!] I can tell you there were the dogs bollux when first around - just about the fastest production car going for the money - actually used to commuts from southend to stratford east in a banana yellow one!! ah the memories
