    clucth question

i recently fitted a non genuine clucth cable after mine snapped, and now the clucth is really soft and bits very low, and after about 15 minutes of driving you really have to force 1st and second, can you adjust the clucth or will it be the non genuine cable? do you think i should swap it for a renault one??

you should be ok with a non genuine one mate. Go back and recheck the adjustment against the haynes manual.

Northy that is shocking advice fella

The clutch system is non-adjustable as the pedal ratchet is designed to take up the slack as the clutch wears out.

The problem will be the non-genuine cable stretching and being of the wrong length to start with. Probably made out of the wrong material too.

Get a genuine renault clutch cable, always do for any clio.
