fitted my decat at the weekend and its had a bit of time to 'settle in' and get carbon'd up!
sounds wicked now and my mates just followed me back from the shops so i hooned it, let the revs go down slowly and dipped the throttle.... BANG!!! did it a couple of times!! got back to my house, he gets out and was like 'do you know that when it bangs you get flames coming out the zorst'!! \:D/
its made my day!! i heard ppl do get them, but i just wanted some confirmation and now i got it! :D

Does it only do it with certain exhausts???
Cos mine cracks like foook now but never any flames, and ive got a scorpion backbox on. Its quote a narrow exit on it.

only thing is, i wont ever see it all the time im driving!!, unless someone films it from behond for me!!
ive got a powerflow with a BIG ugly 4" carbon tip!! (came with the car)

Same here mine pops and bangs but does not flame, and mine has a full powerflow and no cat.. strange?Cos mine cracks like foook now but never any flames

Mine does some pretty loud bangs occasionally, dunno if it flames though.

flames are generally only seen at night, by someone following the car. mine pops, crackles and bangs like fook, but only ever seen a flame from mine once, over-run at 6krpm in a tunnel!
exhuast nees to be nice and warm.
turbo cars are great for flames, as they tend to run richer on the over-run than nasp engines!

Yeah mine just doesnt burn the fuel i dont think and its a standard exhaust, not been arsed to fit a stainless jobby yet
