    cant fit auxiliary belt back on

    how do i fit the auxiliary belt back on
    when i was removing the pas pump i couldnt remove the belt so i took the pulley off so the bely come off
    now iv replaced the pump i cant get the belt back on
    is there a trick to doing this ?

    also do i actualy bleed the pas or just fill it and keep turning lock 2 lock till no bubbles ?

    You need to undo the ajuster pulley to get the belt on. If this is seized or broken you'll need to take the alternator off and file the top mounting hole into a slot so you can move the alternator in enough to get the belt on.

    how do i adjust the adjuster pulley ?
    is it on a spring
    i did try n wedge it up with a bar but i felt or saw no movement(should it move uo and down )
    in this pic its called tensioner wheel E

    atm the alternator top bolt is not in place it is as forward as it can get ?
    i was hopin to get belt on the pull back alternator to tension

    Thats weird it should go on with the alternator pushed right up to the block. Are you sure you've got the right belt?

    Not sure how the tensioner works think you put an allen key in the centre and undo the bolts holding it on. The allen key centre on mine has rounded so i've never used it.

    it is the same belt that was on before
    it was very tight
    i had it replaced along with cam belt 1000 miles ago so i thought id reuse it
    at least iv got summat go try tomorrow

    there is a allen key or torq bit in the centre of the tensioner, u need to slacken that off then move the tensioner back
