    Front wheel bearings

    I think these are going to need changing quite soon... Is it an easy job on the williams? I presume i just need to get the hubs off?

    bbtuning do them for £25 + vat..

    you need to get the hubs off which is easy you also need a pair of circlip pliers and a big hammer! basically undo the circlip and hammer out the old ones you can put a wooden block over the new bearing and hammer them back in but it may be a better idea to go to some kind of engineers place or garage or something so the new ones can be pressed in to avoid damage to them

    Thanks mate, any suggestion of a good place that can deal with this near n/w london?

    eeer not specifically but just go to an independant garage and ask them how much just to press the bearings in shouldn't cost too much!

    Got my bearings pressed inot my rear discs at my local garage for £6 for both of them yesterday, was well chuffed with that :D

    Last time I did my bearings they wouldnt shift with a hammer and it took 16 tons of pressure in a press to get them out.

    Took me 30 minutes with a puller just to get mine off the sodding car
