another hybrid down.... for a few days:(

thought i would add my 2pence worth to this hybrid dilemma that's going on, was driving home from kent yesterday, going down roads i was not familiar with. as it was late was booting it to get home, anyway as i was going down this road i did'nt see two very deep pot holes. hit the first one which knocked the car sideway a little then hit another straight away. when i hit the second one i heard an almighty bang from the engine bay followed by a load of rumbling and knocking. quickly pulled over to see what it was, lifted the bonnet and saw the engine leaning to one side :( . went to check the gearbox mount to find the pin that goes through the mount broken in half, leaving half in the lower mount and the gearbox resting on the subframe. was able to do a 10mile trip back round the m25 to my mates house but had to start in 3rd as i could'nt get it in 1st or 2nd. had to use my mates is 200 to get home and leave him with my busted hybrid. ordered the new parts today which will be here tomorrow so should be back on the road. ramble over.

nah it was a bearing or something he just replaced it

yeah it made extremely loud knocking noises(like someone hitting car with a hammer) and ended up with snapped driveshaft end and diff clips/cup etc

Bad news m8....glad I was working on my car on monday instead if driving it now...never knew what would have happened..

got new parts today so im going to fix it now, i hope that gearbox is ok...
