nice surprise for mot

i was a tad worried because i have only owned it for nearly 3 months and dont know a lot about machanics
but 2 flexi brake pipes 1 ball joint 1 bulb is no problem
the worst part was having to stand around ready to start the car with the hammer
i feel better having done most of the work my self i think ill do it myself as much as i can from now on
in the past iv owned 1970 beetles and camper and mot was around £300-£500 (just needed new floors 1 side at a time)
so i think its a result and lets me put a bit more towards the refurb fund

next is replace other ball joints replace power steering motor and find out what clunks at the back end when i go over speed bumps
also buy some real tools rather than old chocolate ones

As for tools, Halfords were doing their 150 piece kit for £99, absolute bargain with most things you'll ever need and guaranteed for life.
