Willy Track

I know it's been asked before but I can't remember the answer.

Is the Willy rear track wider than the valver as stated in PPC? I thought the rear was the same bar the offset difference provided by the willy alloys.

nick hill mentioned that the torsion bar was stiffer but i think he said that they are the same length as the valver!

Young danny is right the torsion bar is stiffer but the track is the same as a 16v at the back.

How is it stiffer? Is it thicker? Surely that means a whole new beam?
