I've heard 300 mm is possible but I always though 285 mm was the best option.

u can get 300mm under williams wheels, but need superlite wilwoods iirc, rally design use to sell this kit at £600 odd, theres actually about 330mm gap on the smallest area in a williams wheel

300mm are very tight, i've gotta get the file out again.... i was gonna use (before these came up) 280mm Nissan Pulsar GTiR discs with brembo 4pots of a Leon or Fiat turbo there's a 10mm gap and easy to make brackets, Mick of RSC is oyutting them on his 19

I'm currently running 285mm front discs on my hybrid and would like to go down the 4 pot route as well.

Would any 4 pot caliper fit these discs (with extender brackets and longer hoses), or am I limited to certain calipers?

    Cheers

    James,
A guy in our Motor Club, runs a Motorsport engineering business ~~ a one man show !!!.I got some 305 x 25 mm Discs,Alcon 4 pot radial mount calipers ~~ all from a Hyundai World Rally car, gave this guy a wheel 17" and the front upright ~~~ voila !!! :D :D He made the, disc mounting bells, caliper mounting brackets, supplied all the nuts, bolts ~~ put steel thread inserts where neccessary. The complete set up,went on my car better than the original ."Flan" has seen the set up.have a word with him.
Also,I have tried a 16" wheel on,and this fits ok.
Within reason,I am sure most 4 pot caliper and discs could be fitted,to anything. It would be easier to get discs that use a "mounting bell" ,greater scope etc.Hope this helps.
    Rod.
