    vts vs gti

as alot of you know my williams 2 is changing hands to daz0rz on here sunday night

was thinking of getting 106gti or saxo vts next

anyone got on thoughts on either of these or which they prefer?

106's look to be more expensive of the 2 to be honest tho.

only really wanna spend 1k at most

so about p-r reg im looking at

You'll struggle to get a vts for 1k even more so with a 106 gti.

Gav how can you give 2 virtually identical cars such different descriptions?

The saxo is just as good as the gti ....

i doubt you'll get a 106 gti for £1k to be honest (no doubt you'll find a bargain one though ), of the two i would prefer one of them, i was going to get one inbetween the valver and willy but i decided to just stick with what i'd got.
only fault with the vts imo is a bit of an image problem, i still really like the look of the facelift ones though.

When can i pick the wheels up then mate?

    im talkin shit mart

    Im just talkin aboot looks
I cant stand the look of the Saxo's but love the look of the 106'gti

no clue how the saxo drives, but prefer the looks int and ext of a gti to a saxo

oh i can get for 1k easily mate dont worry about that

been offered a saxo vts for 900 just needs taxing

just have to know where to look my friend.

i still might just go back to the whole swift gti scene as i know those cars inside out.

the idea was to profit off the williams and kinda retire from the whole car buying/selling thing and concentrate on other things.
the whole car "thing" seems to be taking over my life recently and its time to stop. just want a half decent car that reliable and isnt embarrssing to drive.

the williams would be fine that ive got now but i cant turn down £800+ profit ??

The suspension setups of the Saxo n Pug are slightly different, and the Saxos are supposed to be slightly less friendly on the limit. Not driven a Saxo, but a 106 is a fine little beast and makes very decent progress indeed

I would say Matt, if you're a big guy (or, at least, have big feet!) you'd better stay away cos they're noticeable smaller than a Williams and the pedal box particularly is absolutely tiny and not particularly nice to use.
