Whats everybody else got?, any other surround sound freaks like myself?

Mines as follows:

Sony 28" 100hz Flat screen progressive scan CRT tv.
Yamha DSP640 se av amplifier
Pioneer DVD565a dvd player
Wharfedale Diamond 8.3 fronts
Wharfedale Diamond 8.2 rears
Wharfedale Diamond 8 rear centre
Wharfedale Diamond 8 100 front centre

Fronts and front centre bi wired with Ultra micro 100 silver cable
Rears wired with QED silver anniversary cable
Rear centre wired with micro 100 silver cable

All cables terminated with lenexpo 24 karat gold banana plugs and treated with walker silver grease.

Dont need no sub either bassey enuff

I have a SVA 32 inch Widescreen LCD TV

Sony Compact AV System Dav-SC5 surround sound system
Subwoofer and five surround sound speakers Excellent system :D

I got the MGP LCD wide tiptronics with high res 16's over 15's.

Also have a SMP low sonic ampilifyer running the tuning sonar gear out of a trident class submarine.

Into that i plug a nuclear generator kicking out 4 megatons of whattage to a 345 semi conductor coil running a phaser laser schmaser high compression unit that i plug into the back of my 14 inch portable tv.


And i still cant get channel 5. :D

Get an uber AV system martin you will not regret it, home cinema fukkin rocks.

So after this advice i expect you to have bought a system within errrrr 3 days or so or im coming to....i dunno.....melt your face off or summit nasty.

So get you ass down to richer sounds.

I got a fiesta 1.1 popular, its got 4 wheels and an engine. I turn it on and it runs. Job done?

hehe yeah well maybe a fiesta would so the job for some people....but my cars have be quick, look good and handle well!

eeerrrrrrrrrrrr......did have

yamaha dsp e492 pro logic amp

1x rotel integrated amp

1x rotel power amp

2x rotel pre amps

tannoy 633 profile plus floorstanders

kef coda 7s used as rears

and had a mixture of kef and ae centres


but had summat blow up n melted the speakers...apparently a guy a few miles away had same prob with his at the same time...but the leccy co. swore they had encountered no spikes....bollox


so now have a telly with speakers lol


never really bothered replacin em after the kids ..........sticky curious fingers n soft domed tweeters dont go hand in hand...lol
