I need the following for my HG replacement

Timing Belt kit
Water Pump
Head Gasket Kit
Head Bolts

obviously oil and coolant etc etc, I can grab from my local shop.

Now, so far, the cheapest I can find is:-

Timing Belt kit - £95 (Renault)
Water Pump - £19.99 (motorfactor)
Head Gasket Kit - £58 (GSF)
Head Bolts - £35 (GSF)

Can anyone advise where to get any of that any cheaper??

Quick update.

£12 for the bolts from renault.

I can get the head stripped, bathed, new valves stem seals and rebuilt (if I take the cam out) for £58

gsf do a cambelt kit for 60quid ish iirc. that includes belt, tensioner and pulley.

When I went to GSF a few weeks ago a HG set was £46.50 and im sure it included head bolts. HG is just £22. Im going there later to get mine so ill let you know.

If you want to do it on the cheap, have a look on ebay for headgasket kits i think you could get a headgasket and headbolts for like £50
They come with a 2 year warrenty, but may be worth paying the extra for the peace of mind.

no a the gsf head gasket set does not come with bolts they are separate.

The head kit includes inlet and exhaust gasket, head gasket, cam oil seal, cam cover gasket, stem seals if your lucky too. GSF bolts are overpriced too so get em somewhere else.

the head gasket sets on ebay are ok...i used one wen i put the valver head on mine.....as a cheap/temp fix.....bin on a while now lol...


think they £30 come with head gasket, r/c gasket, valve stem oil seals, cam seals, inlet and exh manifold gaskets
