oh, I'll order some rubber block to fill the gap then, the engine's moving loads. My 205's on virtually solid mounts so makes the clio effort seem like a flip flop when you need ski boots :lol:

Noticed the engine's got osme extra movement and noticed that the tab which sticks out the side by the PAS res si alot smaller than the metal frame that surrounds it.
Is there meant to be another...

For track use I run A539's no need running slicks unless you're racing/competing IMO, or at least can't justify £400 on tyres for a trackday.

Mines -60mm on 195/45R15's had to take some lengths of 4x6 to put the car on the ramps with so they could get the axle jack under it.
If the rad suddenly over heads from a oil cooler being in front of it, then there's someting very wrong with the rad.

oil wants to be 90-100 deg to be operating correctly, cold oil will cause as much damage as too hot oil.

I've always just run 10w-40 semi and run 95-100 deg oil temps, no need for flashy oil that way.
I did swap to 10-50 for a while, but didn't notice any benifit and it was costing £25+VAt a tub...
I've got one on my car, think mine said it was a rage, but it's painted on so sctraches off :)
Better than the proper snap-off ones I think as it's held by 10 (or so) pints rather than two laterly...
I've reverted to running 10-w40 semi and change it after every trackday.
If you're oils getting too hot then get a bigger oil cooler, don't put oil in that takes the heat better, fix the problem...

Up for grabs as I'm swapping to willi front kit, whole subframe, rack, hubs, wishbones shafts, uprights and -40mm springs, only less the brakes really.

I've got the choice between 182 cup springs or 171 std springs? on a valver with willi front sus, as the -60 and widetrack will mean arch munching.
Ask ashley exhusts about a one off John up there is great he's done a few one off for me, mild steel, as for rusting, OEM stuff seems to last ok, and the wall thickness is better than crappy paper...
I've not had the experince of a standard 16v mines -35 on 195/45's and it's brilliant, I find the drive more fun in many ways than my 205 track car. But I'm bored of clearance issues so I'm swapping...
