I bought the car in March 2010 and I believe the owner I'm trying to trace had it between roughly 2005/6 to 2009. Name of Michael Froggatt

I'm trying to trace the previous owner (not the person I bought it from but the person before) of my williams clio 3.

if all bolts are snapped the plate should be free to come out with
a tap . take it off and see if the remaining bits of the bolts are long
enough to bite with a pair of mole grips . if so clamp one...

what do you mean the whole lot? What should the 4 torx bolts bolt into once they've gone through the brake disc backing plate?

ok taken the rear disc off and two of the 4 torx bolts holding the disc backing plate to the arm have snapped. Got them out and I'll buy new bolts tomorrow but they don't seem to line up with...
