its N314 DAT
I bought the car in March 2010 and I believe the owner I'm trying to trace had it between roughly 2005/6 to 2009. Name of Michael Froggatt
I'm trying to trace the previous owner (not the person I bought it from but the person before) of my williams clio 3.
The person is called Michael Froggatt and he must have been a member on here...
if all bolts are snapped the plate should be free to come out with
a tap . take it off and see if the remaining bits of the bolts are long
enough to bite with a pair of mole grips . if so clamp one...
ok I've looked at this further this morning. There are 4 torx bolts that go through the disc backing plate and into the rear trailing arm to hold the whole caliper assembly in place.
All 4 of my...

Luckily I managed to pull over with...

The passenger electric window goes up really really slowly, about half the speed of my drivers side window.
And if you put both windows up together the passenger one almost stops - almost as if...

The polisher is a kestrel dual action polisher. The products were menzerna (the medium one) followed by menzerna power finish and I think menzerna pads.
I used meguiars detailing clay first.
...
Bought 2 weeks ago and did a full paintwork correction with a DA polisher. Had to use the medium cutting compound and aggressive pad to remove the swirls as it was very bad.

Bought these last weekend but decided to leave my old discs on and just change pads as the discs were still good enough.

Ok my friend looked at my car yesterday. He strips and rebuilds classic cars in his spare time. He said it feels like a fault with the pressure plate.
Apparently the way the pedal goes...
Yea. When my valver was in the bodyshop back in '94 I was driving a Micra for weeks. When I got the Clio back the clutch was so harsh I rang them and asked if they had messed with it! Was a massive...
ok I called GSF today as they were the ones who supplied the said clutch. They said they can't tell if it was a standard or uprated clutch and they believe the clutch sent was a valeo one. The...
Just re checked the receipt. Mine is a GSF clutch and on the receipt it says 'send valeo not sachs'
So I have the snappy valeo one by the looks of it!
It's the first car over 3 years old I've owned lol
But the clutch is more than just a bit stiff. It's almost undriveable.
I think I've come to the conclusion that a paddle clutch must have...
ok I've delved into the receipts I got for the car and the clutch pedal assembly and self-adjusting mechanism was replaced at about the same time as the clutch. Could this be a potential cause?? ...
