Really!!!
Bad form, Shane. :x
Mileage??
Service history??
Old MOT/receipts??
A worthwhile mod, then??!!
I thought the S/R was an option on the '2'?? Am sure i've seen 2's with & w/out S/R's?? :?
Wasn't this car previously advertised as being from 'Aigburth, Liverpool'? :?
Just buy the most looked after/pristine Williams you can find for £4k, regardless of model no./mileage etc.
The original Williams was the only one to get a numbered plaque on the dash, so that...
Seeing as it's been 15 years since I've done any French, lol, I've just typed the main text from the ad into one of those online translators:-
"self-adhesive of origin for the hatch
Reference: ...
Sorry if you've stated this already, but where abouts are you based, pal?
So just to confirm, then, is this a F7R (Williams) lump with a F7P (1.8 16v) manifold? :?
Try lube.
Nah, fairy liquid was what I used. LOTS. And various other tools and lots of swearing. Usually with these things I find you need to get to the screaming "NNNGGGG...
 Rag week?? :?
Side repeaters - Bumper/grill??
When I was a wee lad back in the 80's, I always lusted after a Pug 205 T16 thanks to those crazy Group B rally days!
I'd go for it, if it all seems legit & that's the only box left un-checked. If it's got all the receipts & old MOT's to proove the services/repairs, then personally, I can't see the problem! Put it...
F1's FTW!!!
As said, Proxes are a very soft compound, but you should get more than that out of them!! I'd deffo get yourself booked into a wheel alignment place, ASAP!
Nothing..........................
Just the 1st two look a tad more manly!! :P
I'm in the same boat, myself - I've been looking at 2's & 3's, too. (The 1's seem to fetch a bit of a premium over the other two - Because they're numbered, I guess??).
I've seen some 2's with a...
195's on 7J would be ideal. However, I used to run 195/45 16's on my old valver in 2001, but I can't remember if they were 6.5J or 7J x 16"??
ps My Mk4 Golf runs 205/55 16's on a 6.5J wheel as...
Not a fat lot - You CAN tell them apart, though. They both have the same 'V' tread pattern. I guess it's just like most products - They just get revised over time.
195 50's are a lot...
Why's that then.......... Non-original??
Sorry, I've just noticed that you want the older GS-D2's. (I didn't think they sold them anymore!!). They only list the 195 50's in the newer GS-D3 design.
Mytyres are usually the cheapest whenever I'm looking around (although Camskill occasionally have some deals on).
How many tyres do you need?
Have you considered going to 195 50 15, as they're...
Ah sorry, I misread your post.......... I see what you mean, now!
Maybe take:-
- G'box/clutch (& cable)/flywheel
- Radiator & pipes/Head gasket
- Road springs/shocks
- Calipers, discs,...
Sorry if I'm missing something & being thick, but don't all your exporting figures add upto £2k & not £10k??
It really depends on how much you love the car, TBH. First things I'd ask myself,...

My God - That's one lush Williams. Probably TOO good for my intended purposes!!
I couldn't find your user name or piccies on flickr. Could you put a link in this thread, please?
