Tyre profile question?
Hi guys,
I have 4 195/45 tyres on the valver at the minute, two of them need replaced, but two are like new,
Id rather be running 195/50 profile so I have two 195/50 tyres on other wheels and was wondering if I could use the two different profiles until the 45's need replaced, then replace them with 50's?
i.e. Can I put two 195/45 on front of car (or rear)
and 195/50 on the front or rear as long as i keep the the profiles the same with the front set and rear set?
Or is this not a good idea?
If it is ok what would be better on the front?
Cheers,
Darren

I believe your not allowed to put higher profile on the front than the rear.. As technically thats like running a larger diameter on the front which is not allowed. So you would have to put the 50's on the rear and the 45's on the front... Hope that makes sense
