yea i mean whole dash :)
if you know what to do it aint long really... take top dash off, all clocks etc, all other little bits, heater controls etc and drill out the rivets and 4 nuts, couple of screws. wiring and heater pipes are a bit of a pain though,
id say an hour an half, took me about that long first time
he he he... scottie it aint jus the dash tho is it!!! We gota gut out the whole damn interior! All the grey panels! I reckon we shud plan a week for it! :D
Anything grey and plastic has to come out!!!!
O well it shud b a laugh!!!
its just a matter of finding the torx screws, as soon as u have located them its pretty simple.
I would book a day to get whole int oot 8)
what about the panels where ur seat belt is... and all the thin bits round the top... should they just pull off??
think they either pull off Clio B or look for a little outline of a circle, if u can find one it is a screw cover, pop the covers off revealing the screw :D
on the furthest to the rear cards there are 2, 17mm bolts for the seat belts and 8-9 torx screws, 2 of them hold the window in, there is a big torx screw and another 17mm bolt and that part should pull off, the rear quarter requires the drivers seat belt (top) to come off, 17mm bolt, then that car will just pull off, for the bottom sill around the door, undo the 17mm holding the bottom of the seat belt in and 2 torx screws, remove the top dash, 5 torx screws, the top sill will just pull off, 1 torx screw on the one next to the windscreen, and repeat for the other side :D:D
door cards: remove door handle cover, 2 torx screws to remove handle, 1 torx screw in other handle, remove speaker, 4 screws, remove door pocket 5-6 torx screws, remove little plastc bit 1 torx screw, remove winder if manual windows and lift the door card off, watch out for lots of sticky stuff!!! :D
Should take the better part of a day to get everything out and the dash out.
Where you based i could do it for you if you liked?
shes in heathrow mate, spode u cud fly from leeds/bradford!!
can you get to the bulbs on the rev counter just by taking the top of the dash off i have got 1 gone but can't be arsed to take too much off to do it
my headlight bulb is gone too.....
yeah you can. undo top dash.
remove screws on speedo gauges (2 top - easy, 2 bottom - harder to get to)
its an arse to pull out the wires and speedo cable from the back. easy to swap over the bulbs, then reverse the process.
heathrows a bit far from yorkshire lol especially wen av no car :P if u was closer id be more than happy to help :)
to take clocks out remove the top dash, steering column covers, 3 screws on bottom then 2 on front, then theres 2 screws on the bottom of the clocks facing down. whip speedo cable off and other cables then swap bulbs :D
there about 3quid new from reno each :P
