As a social member I thought I'd post this up as I know you lot like a hear about mad motors :)
Went to a Jap meet near Leeds last night at the Square Cafe, afterwards one of the chaps took me for a 45 min thrash in his black supercharged ITR....fook n hell is all I can say! He reckons it's pushing out near on 300 BHP, has uprated internals including uprated clutch with a straight through Spoon N1 exhaust and manifold. Apart from that it looks stock.
It was dark, foggy and very wet but he was on roads he knew very well (I was still sparking up a bum cigar at every corner!)..the car just pulled and pulled beyond belief! There was a slight misfire at 4500 revs but this just made it sound like a Group B rally car, the Vtec came in at 4k but even before that it was pulling, right up to 9100rpm. I had to sit in my car afterwards to calm down....what a fanny! He'll be at Elvington on the 22nd if anyone if going......see you soon PK.
