View Full Version : Brake disks
Looking to upgrade brake disks, any reccomends, options, links etc, cheap as poss.
imo id leave it with std discs, dont get grooved/drilled imo, if u are not after 4pot kits then some decent fast roads pads with braided hoses should be up to the job
std is best, or at a push grooved, stay well clear of drilled
am with that n all richy mate, too many stories of fooked grooved n cross drilled discs, standard all the way n decent pads! 8)

i was very impressed with my tarox grooved discs, but i now have standard ones to put on and to give a go!!
Using Black Diamond groove/drilled in front. Honestly, can't tell any braking difference with the standard discs. Think it's better to spend money on pads, braided hoses and changing to dot 4s - if you haven't done that yet.
whats the size of the willy stnd disk? 280mm??
ok cheers, guy at GSF said 280?, i wasnt sure and wanted to check
he may of got mixed up with a 172 or something(dunno how!) lol
