Just for fun.

Assuming Daniel Craig is the temporary 007 for Casino Royale, who would be in the running for the next James Bond in about 2 years time? British, or anyone that looks the part and can fake the accent. Or will it go belly up after this film?

OK, I go out on a limb and say:-
Hugh Jackman - Ladies like him and he will be free after X3 :)

pierce was getting too old but its a shame they fuked and put sean bean in as a baddy a few years ago as he would have been good. but lets face it they will only pick a GB actor and that means ur picking the best of a bad bunch.

no way was pierece to old!!!! he was 49 in 2002 when he done die another day! and he at least had another 2 movies left in him! we all no the reason why he left dont we? it was all due to financial reasons!

remember roger moore was 56 in 1983 when he done octopussy which was a good film! but many people think he overdone it by starring in a view to a kill 2 years later saying he was too old (which he did look too old then being 58 ) but i liked that film and roger had such a comical edge with so many double entendre's

**** Brosnan, Craig is a much better person for the role imo... i'd still have preferred to have seen Clive Owen as Bond though...

I think Daniel Craig was quite good in Layer Cake, and after Munich, should be able to get better gigs than playing 007.

IMO, movie-making these days is mostly about pleasing the US market. I just have this nasty feeling that the next Bond could be a yank actor (possibly waning popularity) who don't mind being locked in the same role for the next 10 years. Pulls in the crowds in US and sells loads of toys and mechandise :(

Brosnan was not too old - Bond is the macdaddy, the most experienced and deadly spy in the world, you dont get that far at 21 years of age!

Anyway, at least they've got the car right this time! Check this baby out;

Personally, I would have liked Brosnan back for one last time, then possibly Christian Bale. thought he looked quite 'bond' in Batman Begins...

...I read that too! What kind of Bond cant even drive??????

Anyhoo, dont see how that will effect the film as any performance / stunt driving will be done with stunt drivers.
