;)
You sold it to a tart??
i needed the cash i'm afraid
i miss it now its gone
dont think i'll ever own one again tho i wouldnt spend mor than 2k on one
she was saying that other people were wanting silly prices like 4k+
the cars just aint worth that now are they..
mine was priced to sell. i could have got more but it would have meant putting on ebay, autotrader etc.
oh well hope she enjoys it.

No offence mate, but if your drove a really decent one, you wouldn't be saying that. And they are worth that.

agreed
what i meant was their to slow for me
i'm into the whole turbo car thing.
still a good car but not for me....
i would never pay 4k for one regardless of condition
maybe a MINT willy 1 with FSH and LOW mileage
renaults just dont fetch the bid$$$ do they?

dont u think u are jumpin out of the fryin pan into fire buyin a pulsar?
gotta experiance it matey
300bhp at one bar boost
if you think clio 'boxs have their share of problems, wait til your pulsar starts stripping cogs.
I'd be happier changing a FWD box than a 4WD system.
Good luck.................. but you will be back

If you're really into your cars, straight-line speed isn't the be-all-and-end-all. As you say, whatever floats your boat.
And Renaults not fetching the bids? Some people aren't interested in what badge a car has. And anyway, you're buying a Nissan
i think i'd have a valver again simply because of how cheap they are to buy now
plus i've educated myself well from this site on cliosport over last year or so.
i'm pretty good with renaults now.
mind you i should ben with the amount i've had last year!

if you dont know anythin about them i would read up etc, that may put you off cause it problem after problem, correct me if im wrong.
still its your call, good luck to ya mate
fair play for giving someone a bargain I say, unfortunately you could have (despite what you think) sold it within the same amount of time for at least a grand or so more, as like the old saying goes "it's worth what people will pay for it".
good luck in the Pulsar game, I'll warn you now though, it's a cheap, old turbo car and not only that it wasn't a very well built car in the first place. it will be similar to owning an old Sierra Cosworth, so make sure you keep a bit of change in the bank for any repairs, I'd actually figure this into the buying price, ie £3k car, budget for £4k and keep the grand left over just in case. few people I know have had these and yes, they are seriously quick std even and can be tuned, but they cost a fortune to run... for the money I'd be getting a classic Scooby, RA or STI3 onwards for deffo. you'll have fun in it though mate, that's for sure, just dont go round bends too fast
oh dont work i've done the research
my mates got the 200sx and i now how much time he spends under the bonnet
i just wanna experience it when i'm young and can afford to make mistakes
once i've bought i house etc i wont be ableto do shit like this
i'm not doing bad tho
look at some of the cars i've owned in 3 years of driving and i'm only 23!
civic vti
clio 1.8 16v
clio williams
charade gtti
pulsar GTIR (3 days till it blew  )
swift gti
corsa gsi
etc etc
practically most of the affordable hot hatches
to be fair mate it sounds like you only had the Willy for 5 minutes, I'm still learning about the cars driving characteristics 2 years on (or 30k on...). turbo cars always impress for the first few drives, lord knows my mates Impreza did... wasn't until the dump valve novelty wears off that you realise... or in his case the bottom end, gearbox, turbo and clutch go... then you sell it to a Saab dealer  class, he actually took a car dealer for a ride... lol

cool hope it goes well!
should be alright i hope
by the way stop mentioning how much you like the car! lol
i'm missing it already. stop rubbing it in! :P
turbo cars will always feel deceptively faster as you get that on boost rpm point but they are laggy - especially older cars - i ran a 225 tt for a while which is supposed to be a good turbo and found it very annoying.
pulsar is going to be a money pit and doesnt sound the car for you matt as you do seem the type to cut corners and cut quick deals - without causing you offence matt.
they are ugly bastard cars as well
a cheap turbo option is the celica. these are good value, quick and a better buy imho
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/62842.htm
i know they can be a money pit but i just wanna experiance one while im still young
i'll mot likely only keep it a week
now i've got a lump some of money i've even just thought about buying a cheap standard valver and running that for a while so i can save up some good $$$
open to all options really..
cars i'd love are
pulsar GTIR
starlet gt turbo
u fancy a lightweight scooby?? ra spec lol
theres a very nice nick silver starlet turbo around nr my area - chellaston i think ive seen it with a for sale sticker in the window.

Yeah, i know the guy who owns that. Went to school with him like, it says its 165bhp but my mate raced him in his valver and it was about the same so i dunno, unless its been modded since. Looks mint though with wolfrace alloys on it.
Went for a blast to melbourne today, not seen your willy knockin about yet
probably out of my price range
dont really wanna go above £2000
i know that sounds low but good pulsars and starlets do come along for that price...
ra spec scoob......2k
