upwards of 2k imo, people tend to undervalue valvers all the time, cat171 on cs got £2750 for his last year, and somebody else got £2.5k for their naples one, the buyer travelled all the way from the isle of wight to fetch it.
because im seriously considering selling it and getting another one

I would only pay that for a mint standard one that has NO mods.
well ive had two offers already.... one for £ 2000 and one for £2500...
Your telling me that your cars have less then 58,000 miles and has only had 1 owner from new, not only that but ive got a renault stamped service book to go with it,,,,,,,, so tell me if its worth it or not.....
and trust me my valver is in mint con,,,,
Just offer me a price that you guys would pay for a valver in good nik and with very low milege :?: :?: :?: :)
£2500 sounds like a good offer to be honest

It's a 10+yr old car. It's not a collectors item. I just can't see why anyone would be mad enough to pay that. Fair play if you can sell it for that, but anyone that buys one for that is clearly mental.
We paid £2300 for an S-plate Xsara VTS with 2 owners and 35k on the clock and it was like it had come from the factory.
It just doesn't make sense to pay that much for a car that's over 10yrs old, no matter how mint, when you can find cracking examples for much less.
so is a williams and they sell for 4k + still a 10yr old car
and i wouldnt class them as collectors but ppl still pay that money for them! ive seen them go for 7k.....thats crazy, u can get a 172 now-a-days for that price

I agree with you, if everyone was so quick to take the first offer the car markets arse will drop out... oh hang on, it has! good on you mate, stick to your guns, someone who wants a mint valver will pay that and more i reckon, I'd pay more for what appears to be a hassle free motor (assumption based on miles).

I'd class them as a collector's car. They're also well known to petrolheads. Take a look back through performance car issues and you'll see about 12 articles on the williams, which will have set in the minds of most people, including the evo decade ish.
Don't get me wrong, I love the valvers, but people are definitely mental if they're willing to pay that much for one. Fair play if you can sell it for that though.
Mr Mervin,
when i sell my valver for 2k i will buy u a beer with the profits :D
