why are people saying with a chip rev go up to 7100rpm??
mines standard an it hits about 7100rpm and in any case its not good to hit that kind of rpm any way ??
very confussled ???
williams limiter is set at 6500 as standard.
7100 is ok, most people don't bury it at 7100 all the time anyway. I know williams bottom ends are good for 7100. Gunner had his up to 7.8/8k for a while I believe.
willy has longer stroke engine so lower limit at 6.5k, valver is more revvy as standard at 7.1k revs
My willy has a longer stroke and it can rev for longer
yeah but ur willy has been 'modified' slightly cuz it was inadequate before!
Was still a longer stroke than yours to start with. You've got some serious catching up to do
maybe but mine strokes much faster than yours for maximum enjoyment :P

lover boys!!
lovers tiff ?
:P
AFAIK F7R std bottom will go to 7300rpm safely! Anything more and is risky breaking something - cracking a con rod or such like!
std cams peak at 6500rpm anyway, so only worth having 7krpm limiter if your running cams, or require a few more revs before gearchange.
Or your still making good power at 6500 and need more revs
