I put new pads on the back of the Clio 3 weeks ago, drove for 150 miles to bed them in then I haven't driven it till last night. Anyway the back brakes are stuck on. When I put the pads on I checked the sliders and they were fine, could the runners that the pads sit on cause them to stick?

they were prob just stuck to yer discs i reckon. mine did it after a week when i never used it
If your not gonna use the motor for a while your best off leaving it in gear rather then using the handbrake.

I'm not relying on just leaving the car in gear on my drive, it went backwards into the bins last time so I use both the handbrake and leave it in gear now.
The brakes are free enough for the car to move, its just that you can hear them scraping when I drive, so obviously the piston isn't going back enough to let the pad away from the disk.

Dont listen to him lol^^ This happend to me so i changed the pads and 1 week later i need to change them again lol. Strip them down and have a look mate. Make sure the slides in the right way round as well(the metal thing that holds the pads in). If its not the pads are a bit tighter and dont move as easily.
easy mistake to make...but did u wind the pistons in on the calipers??

I wound them for ages they didn't go back that far though, just enough to get the pads in. Maybe they need to go back a bit more.
