They're about 6.8 0-60 I think and the handling is OK for a big lardy boat, but I doubt they'll be better handling than a Clio.

See ya

That's doing a bit of a disservice to most cars on here mate :(

If an S3 is a very average performer, then the majority of the Valvers and standard Williams are very average performers too. They may well not be as fast as a cam'd beast, but they're still pretty quick road cars!

not for what they are and the price you pay. 'S' on the Audi badge used to mean something... S1 and S2 were serious motors in their day...

when comparing it to the Willy even as standard remember that the S3 is using it's 4WD to get those 0-60 times... even then they aint much better than a boggo Williams.

Agreed, compared with proper performance Audis it's a little bit lame. But it's still a pretty fast car in hot hatch terms. Under 7 seconds to 60, over 140mph, 160(ish)bhp/tonne isn't "very average" to most people. Throw it a bone!

Personally they don't do anything for me, but I can't imagine my Williams is any quicker than one, so I thought I'd stick up for it :P

lol, fair play, but I'd have thought a decent Willy would see one off no probs... seen a couple of std engine hybrids whoop them very convincingly and with no major mods or any weight saving.

they remind me of the Leon's, shit unless you throw bags of money at them to make em quick, having said that they do have that pimp factor... but then that doesn't really interest me, I'm a driver and as such have high demands where fun and enjoyment are concerned... those are two cars that just dont push the right buttons. maybe once i'm of the age where fox hunting suddenly becomes appealing I may look into one... happy with this loonatic wagon at the mo

my mate had 1 we put a bleed valve onit an turned the boost up to fuk
it was quick my cossie was marginally quicker an that was 260hp, my clio took the piss out of it lol
for a 4wd car the handling was shit it was too understeery an had no grip the top end was shit to the turbo was too small an ran out of steam at high revs, the leather recaros were mint tho an u cud pull some birds init
