There were different "colour" marked springs but im not sure if they were signifficantly a higher poundage spring... :?
Easiest route would be some adjustable dampers with compression and rebound me thinks!

that might cost more than i want though. have plans for wide track so i will be buying new willy sus, bar the ARB and springs if i can get customs ones
these are £130 inc vat and iirc delivery so as i say speak to him, no need for all this full dampoer kit business! higher poundage springs will do

AFAIK 172 springs are the same, with the same ride height, just a higher poundage, and the cups are -3mm.
I think 172 springs are the same as willy springs..same part no.?

172 springs, iirc zollo had/has these?
172 and williams springs are the same poundage and height as each other (125lb)

oops knew they were similar, what sort of poundage is recommended then ? and why don't you want a small drop, it does actually lower the cars centre of gravity

anyone know what sort of poundage -35mm springs have ?
well i've been kindly given some 160lb springs :D (which are not going on until i get my ARB and driveshafts)
bayliss has gone for 180lb with a 20mm drop and richy is running 200lb on std height
bv#oth their cars are dedicated track cars whereas mine is my everyday car so i wouldnt really want any harder than that but for track use between 180 and 200 is what i'd go for

reichard motorsport sell uprated rear arb bars and torsion bars, also some shorter rear shocks would be good
lol^ is that the only difference on the torsion bar, the shocks?
when you lower the torsion arm your compressing the shocker more therefore having less travel hence stiffing the shock ;) and rich, you won't have my shiney new ones bcos they're getting delivered to mine your daddy rang me and asked for my address so :P
well fiiiiiine! sod you then! you can sleep outside before cadwell!

Yeah, I'm running 172 springs. They may well have the same part number, but I'd be surprised if they share the same poundage. Mine seems to ride quite a bit harder. May be because all the new stuff on mine making it feel firmer though, dunno.
Renault always insist on knowing the colour'd dot on the springs. Perhaps they find out which application from that?

It depends what type of spring. Or is that a trick question

just some run of the mill, PI lowering springs
mine are horribly hard lower springs, granted I got them cheap and granted the rest of the setup is shagged lol but its very very harsh!
Anyone know ze pundage for -35mm G-Max springs? it feels like a billion!
Willy Lover and Daz....
Best bet is to try and find a supplier of PI/G-Max springs and phone them up pretending to be a potential customer. They'll be more helpful then :D

K-tec claim a 20% increase in poundage on their -35 springs, they're red so are probably PI that'd make em 150 lbs
