View Full Version : wrong suspension supplied?
my m8s got 1995 1.2 clio and about a month ago she had the front driver side spring changed by a garage, the fing is though the cars at a stupid angle now with the front right of the car stickin up in the air :?
have the garage supplied the wrong spring eg a deisel spring or is it because its new and the 3 other springs are all 10yrs old?
shes 2 scared 2 take it back i think so i sed id post on here lol
back aint got springs, torsion bar!! so not likely to b problem. what tends to happen up front tho is old springs break, so check the old spring on the other side at the top, see if it looks sheered off or something! its perfectly safe if it has, but that would account for the angle as the new spring wud b right height n the old ones just broken!!
my old 1.4 had same problem till i lowered it!

springs should be changed in pairs mate. This stops any problems like your experiancing now :D
I know its an issue of cost, but like brakes they should be ALWAYS changed in pairs!!
Never just change one on its own. Sorry, but go get yourself another one and that'll sort your problem.
oh ai, general wear and tear knackers em n all, become compressed over time! cange in pairs, good call!!
