okay, heres my dilemma! whats right, one or two vacuum pipes on the end of the inlet manifold?! :?

Both!

The one with only 1 vacuum pipe on the end will have an extra one halfway down facing the engine.

so is 1 phase 1 n 1 phase 2 or summit, n i guess if i took one with one pipe off my engine will have to use that one when rebuild?!

vacuum take offs on the end of the manifold. the top manifold (yellow) has a single feed for the MAP sensor.

The 2nd manifold has the pipe for the MAP sensor and another for the charcola canister.

one is phase 2 and the other phase one, the one with 2 at the end is 1 and the other is 2 8)

yes they did have charcoal canisters.

Some had the vacuum come off at the top[ of the manifold others a t piece and others had the 2 at the side.

so i can use the silver manifold n just cover the hole up then if i aint using it?!i was gonna use the original but that means i gotta strip the paint off to start n cant b arsed!!

renault even make a wee cap for this purpose

cheers chris! u seem to know ur part numbers so heres one! i need the 2 blanking bolts that go into the end of the cylinder head near the stat housing! i have 2 sensors there, one temp and one other one, but with them there my airbox dont fit right!

the sensors are the ctsa dn dash temp gauge sender.

Do you have the later stat housing to accomodate them?

yeah mate, nowt on the wiring loom was attatched to em! so am gettin rid of em and want the holes blankin off! :D

erm it won't run anywhere near right and the temp gauge won't work if nothing was attached to em.

I cannae seem to find them on dialgoies either at the moment!
