were is the idle speed control valve located i seem to keep staling when i dip the clutch at junctions and eratic revs up and down!!! any pics?? :roll:

Its by the side of dipstick, the cylinder type thing with a pipe either side, one runs to airbox.

Its just a clamp that holds it on, easy enough to take off and clean out with carb cleaner.

Just remember which way it goes, there is a arrow on it, just make a note of which way its facing before removing it so you put it back right.

i have took it out give it a clean and the car still stalls when i dip the clutch when i approach junctions or stop!!! i took it out today after i cleaned it and when i got back to the garage i was sat idel and the revs were going up then down up then down by its self does idcv need completely changing for a new 1 ??? also when i was drivng the car was holding back then when i put the pedal to the metal it jerct then pulled off :cry: cant take it anywere as it keeps stalling when i dip the clutch :shock: what is it!!!!!

flooded computer? common problem! its under the scuttle panel on the drivers side, whip it out n check for dampness inside the casing!

if its damp what shall i doo bring it in the house the car is garaged so cant see how it would get damp any 1 got any pics im fooking useless lol good at making bacon sandwichs thoe :lol:

If the computer doesn't work, just make sure it's not the throttle body causing it.

Had a similar problem on mine a while back, good clean down of the ISCV and TB sorted it.

ai thats it!the computers in a grey box, the water can pool in there over time like, so cud be water from ages ago!not guaranteein its that tho! u anywhere near warrington? i can have a butchers if u provide the bacon butties!!haha! :lol:

im in the north east near newcastle,, il have a lokk today its doing my tits in now il throe in a egg if you drive up lol :lol:
