View Full Version : Broken down stinking of Petrol
Drove my Willy today to buy some fags  I forgot that what appeared to be some very small pipes were hanging very low under the centre or the car, arrived in town and the car started to splutter and on pulling over smelt the petrol. Have I damaged the fuel line, if so whats involved in getting them repaired and what cost?
I feel a bit of a tit, the Snow must have done the damage, although they had already been noted as being incorrectly fitted...HELP...GF will tow back home or to garage depending on cost estimate from you guys...****..****...**** :x

I had a leaking fuel line when I was pulled over for the third time and whilst the police were taking a fairly detailed inspection of the car, they did comment on the smell .... good thing I managed to persuade them it was the magnex on the back
cost me £45 to sort out, no problem 8)

What an excellent piece of Motivation
well i do like to scare people where i can, lol
The Renault ones are the only ones to use due to their sculpture, however if your willy is manufactured before october 1995 the cost is £69+VAT each!! for the feed and return. As I found out recently. No wonder there's so much bodging of the fuel lines by backstreet garages these days
my fuel lines go up and across the engine mount. much better solution imho.
