View Full Version : Lamda sensor
Guys, asking my old man to fit a new sensor any tips how to do it...like where the **** it goes
sensor fits into the last part of the manifold before the cat starts.
It clips into the wiring loom which attaches to the passenger side of the front subframe.
The sensor has around 150mm of free cable attached mate.
think you need a 22mm spanner to unscrew it from the manifold pipe.
:D
Thank you!...I assume putting the car on ramps is the easiest way to access it?
or use the renault jack. (with axle stands)
Ramps will be great . :D
It will prolly be tight as ****, use plenty of plus gas and tighten it one turn and the try loosening it
When I got my new one I changed it in the car park there and then.
Renault jack (front drivers side up) 22mm spanner (if that is right) and away I went :)

Ive had one that would not move at all.. even if i stood on the spanner and jumped..they can be stiff.
