View Full Version : is a 16v head the same as a williams head?
slighty different. some inlet porting and bigger valves i think! cams too maybe but im not 100% sure what else!
Heres a thread asking the differences:

cool, cheers for the link bro, next question, will a 16v head fit on a willy lump and will power loss be noticable?
the reason im asking is, theres a valver one on ebay for 150 quid and my williams is lying collecting cobwebs with a snapped cambelt, this looked like a good lifeline....
yes the head will fit, you may lose a bit of opwer but if thats the only way you can afford to repair it then so be it, oh btw if you gimmie just over a week i should be able to sell you a head for less than £150 that was not long ago re-furbed ;)

I might have got my wires crossed here but im fairly sure BenR, 2live and stan said that the 16v head was inferior than the willy head but had better tuning potential.
And all those guys know there shit.
correct slithers i've explained it to him :D
