That car's been clocked then. I owned 303 from 1998 to 2001, and it had 190,000 on the clock when i sold her - FSH, bit rusty on the rear arches, but in generally good nick!

Cheeky buggers.....looked like some old Cav inside...really untidy....and a lot of rust.
Such a shame BUT imagine how many miles it has done....must be getting on for 300k....
That's such a shame - I took real pride & pleasure in that car, and there was an A4 folder THICK with receipts with it when I sold it.
The wheels needed a refurb (don't they all) and there was rust just starting on the rear arches, and under the rear wiper arm. Plenty of stone chips on the front (commensurate with the mileage really) but inside it was mint!
I fitted some nice 16cm blue pioneer drivers in the doors, and a nice chrome gearknob, as the original blue willy one had fallen to pieces. It also had a pretty nice Kenwood mask stereo in it, though I can't remember if I left that in there.
Other than that, all the blue carpets were unmarked, no rips or fag burns on any of the upholstery. I was only the 2nd owener, the first ran it to 100,000 miles, I put on the next 91,000. Like you say probably well past 250,000 by now.
It's made me really sad to hear what a state it's in now... Reg L957STP in case anyone comes across it !
