Hi does anybody now how easy it is to put the volvo 480 turbo engine into the mk1 clio? and is it worth bothering as im not sure if the engine is particularly fast?
better off with a 1.4 gtt lump tbh fella it's more tuneable than the volve lump.

Hope its easy, im about to start helping a mate do his!
Is this the 1.7 turbo engine?
Malice has this in his car, running carbs, its fairly fast, esentially the same engine as the RSi 1.8 8v lump, not THAT much faster then mine, considering its the same engine turboed

the gt urbo engines are old, 1.4, and when tuned and raged like i intend, will give never ending problems. waste of time and money

It may well of done but bet it didn.t last long.
that was an extensively modified lump and i mean extensive mods had been done to that engine + the car weighed about 450 kg and wasnt even street legal
