A slightly scary photo photo of my car having its cam belt change (and new suspension parts etc.)...but it wasn't long before I was out and about again enjoying a smoother engine and fantastic handling (on new shocks and springs).

The work was done by Autoshack in Woodbridge Suffolk. They do a really good job. As for the cost....it was eye watering (about £1.5k incl VAT) but I had a lot done - cam belt/pully's etc., water pump, thermostat, oil, filters, spark plugs, gearbox oil change, front and rear shocks, front springs, engine bay clean (whilst everything was out of it!) and MOT. I supplied some of the parts e.g. after sourcing the correct springs and shocks. It was a lot to spend, but a massive service like that was due, and the next few years should just be oil changes, MOT's and miles of smiles on the road.
