Hi. I'm new to the forum and seeking some advice. I'm currently negotiating on buying a W1 (dream car as a kid); the car in question will need a new cambelt, waterpump, and probably motor for the electric windows (they work but they're slow). Does anyone have any recent experience of costs associated with this type of work?

I'm based in the Midlands, so any knowledge of experienced ClioWilliams mechanics appreciated also.

Thanks a million!

Mick at Diamond motors is your best bet, he's in Long Eaton https://diamondmotors.co.uk/

As for the window motors, I don't think they're available in the UK but you can still get them from here https://www.boutique-bordanova-sport.com/pi%C3%A8ces-clio-16s-et-williams-origine/4-caisse-et-carrosserie-origine/
